Biography

For the past sixteen years, Kathe has been the president of Kathe Carson, Incorporated, a company dedicated to producing high-quality videos and commercials for corporations and non-profit organizations. In this capacity, she has produced videos, CD-ROMs, radio and television spots and related web and trade show production elements for a broad range of clients, including CBS - A Biographical Video Tribute to Sumner Redstone, National Amusements, Children's Hospital of New York Presbyterian, Columbia Presbyterian, Sony Disc Manufacturing, A&P/Pathmark, Pharmaton (a division of Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals), Daimler Chrysler (a music video for the New York Auto Show), the Eugene Public Library, American Ballet Theatre radio spots with Pierce Brosnan, and radio spots for the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven with Nathan Lane. Many of the above were honored with Telly Awards and other accolades.

Over the years, Kathe has developed an outstanding team of writers, directors, art directors and production professionals to help carry out her and her clients' high creative expectations.

Before launching her own business, Kathe was Vice President and Director of Broadcast Production for Venet Advertising, where she was responsible for all radio and television production in New York and New Jersey. Clients included The New Jersey Lottery, Sterns, Garden State Arts Center, and Pathmark. Earlier she worked for Grey Advertising, where she produced television and radio spots for such clients as Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Beecham, General Foods and Proctor & Gamble.

After graduating from Marymount College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Kathe earned two masters degrees - one a Master of Communication Arts from William Paterson University and the other an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers.
